- automatically recommend places based on your upvotes and submissions

The web design is very unique, but I'm not sure if that's good for users.
Firstly, the font is hard to read. Secondly, in the homepage, it's hard to tell exactly what the site does, I think there should be more info there.
Also, what benefit does this service offer compared to Google Maps or just some tourist suggestion service like Tripadvisor?
Those all seem to be more convenient to use and have more reviews on them than this site.
