Recently, OpenAI announced their launch of custom GPTs, sparking a hype among indie makers. I decided to ride this wave and created GPTsGarden, a directory for exploring and sharing these cool custom GPT models. Check it out here: https://gptsgarden.com
The Launch: I quickly shared GPTsGarden on Reddit and Twitter, receiving an amazing initial response with several submissions. To keep the momentum, I introduced a 'Featured Submission' section, offering prime visibility on our website and newsletter for a week.
Initial Success: And guess what? I made my first sales! Two, to be exact, marking my first-ever earnings from the internet. It's a small step, but it feels like a giant leap for me.
Looking Ahead: I'm excited to see where this journey takes me in the indie maker community. The potential of AI and custom GPTs is vast, and we're just scratching the surface.
Your Thoughts? Have you experimented with custom GPTs? Any exciting projects you'd like to share? How do you see this impacting the indie maker space?
I'd love to hear your stories and thoughts. Let's keep pushing the boundaries of what's possible!
Hope the first of many! Just starting, keep on that way!
Thanks @Germerlo
Congratulations, Sujith! Amazing to see the rapid success of GPTsGarden and its first sales. The introduction of 'Featured Submission' was a smart move. The intersection between AI and creativity is fascinating, and its story inspires you to explore further. While I haven't tried custom GPTs, your journey motivates me to keep an eye out for these exciting opportunities. Keep pushing the limits and good luck in the future!
Thanks @joaolandino
Congratulations, Sujith, on your first internet earnings with GPTsGarden! It's inspiring to see your journey, especially your proactive approach to leveraging the hype around custom GPTs. Your idea of creating a directory for these models is a testament to your innovative spirit and adaptability in the dynamic world of AI.
Your success story is particularly motivating for us at Xamtac. We're also in the realm of AI, developing a comprehensive SaaS platform that integrates AI into digital marketing. It's tailored to adapt to a company's specific brand style and voice, streamlining campaigns across multiple channels, generating and organizing assets, and more. Your venture into GPTsGarden reminds us of the immense potential and versatility AI offers.
That’s pretty great! Are you planning on scaling with some backing from big Twitter accounts?
To avoid any offense, what is the significance of services like this? Isn't OpenAI going to launch its own GPTs Store?
