It took 30 mins to create the script, 20 mins to record the footage, 4 hours to edit the video, and 5 years to learn how to launch on Product Hunt 😬

I feel super nervous and insecure because English is not my native language. I hope this does not ruin the experience from the video.

Hey Jordan. Honestly, I believe all kinds of critics are good πŸ˜€ Even self-centered.
If someone spends time commenting on your work, it means your work somehow touched their mind.

    Thank you for your advice!

I was that guy who kept thinking my product isn't ready for PH. So with my new project, I decided to launch immediately after something is done, so I did it. I was using your "PH launch kit" to get everything done :)

Hey Dominik! I'm glad you did it. Are you satisfied with the launch?

      1. 1

Thank you! Yeah, maybe it didn't blow up. But for the first time, it went well. I got 20 ppl signed up for the product and that is the most important thing :)

          20 sign-ups is a good result. Well done πŸ™‚

Thanks for the video! We're looking at posting on PH soon, so we love all tips. Congratulations on the first youtube video :)

Hey Harry. Thanks for the kind words πŸ₯°
      Good luck with your launch!

Congrats! Over time the nervousness and insecurity will fade. It's weird getting comfortable on camera, even for native English speakers. I like how you are already mixing in some other media as early as your first video. Using other media like that really helps break up the "talking head" video track and will help you with audience retention :)

      Hey Dan!
      Thanks for the support πŸ₯°
I believe a good video should be both educative and entertaining. So I will bring more memes and fun while keeping the content detailed and useful.

Awesome job, @alexanderisora! Getting in front of the camera is one of the most vulnerable things you can do. Keep it up!

    1. 1

Well, I expected it to cause some discomfort, but it turned out to be waaay more difficult haha πŸ˜…

Really good points, you have a new subscriber Alexander!

      Thanks for the sub, William!
Those are very basic tips. I just wanted to encourage the very beginners.
In the next video, I will share more advanced things πŸ™‚

I hope I will improve the quality of my speech soon and the videos will be more fun and easy to consume.
