I mapped every question my buyers type into Google. Then I answered all of them. Here's what happened in 90 days.

Six months ago I had a client with a solid SaaS product, zero organic traffic, and a homepage that talked entirely about features.

Nobody was finding him. Not on Google. Not on ChatGPT. Not anywhere.

I did not touch his product. I did not run a single ad. I did one thing differently from every agency he had spoken to before.

I stopped asking "what keywords should we rank for" and started asking "what questions is our buyer typing into Google at 11pm when they are frustrated?"

Those are two completely different questions. And they lead to completely different results.

Here is what I actually did.

I spent one afternoon on Reddit, G2 reviews, and Trustpilot. I read every complaint, every frustrated thread, every "I wish this tool could just..." comment I could find in his category. I collected 40 exact phrases his buyers used when they were stuck.

Not industry jargon. Not product feature language. Their words. Their frustration. Their 11pm Google searches.

Then I turned each frustration into one blog post. No fluff. Just a direct answer to one specific question per post. 800 words. Written like a human, not a content mill.

Posted once a week for 8 weeks.

By week 6 three things happened:

One: Google started ranking those posts for the exact phrases I pulled from Reddit. Low competition, high intent, buyers who were ready to act.

Two: ChatGPT started recommending his product in conversations about that problem. Because ChatGPT pulls from Reddit and from content that matches conversational search language.

Three: A founder messaged him after a demo: "ChatGPT recommended you over 5 other tools."

Zero ads. Zero backlinks. Zero agency.

The insight that changed everything: your buyer does not search for your product. They search for the moment right before they realize they need your product.

Find that moment. Answer it better than anyone else. Show up there consistently.

That is the entire strategy.

Most founders skip this because it feels slow. It is not slow. It is the only channel that compounds. Every post you publish works for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and now feeds the AI tools your buyers are using daily.

Quick exercise: open a new tab right now. Type your biggest competitor's name into Reddit search. Read the top 10 threads. How many of those thread titles could become a blog post for your SaaS?

That is your 90-day content roadmap sitting there for free.

Drop your SaaS in the comments and tell me the number one complaint your buyers have. I will tell you the exact post title I would write first.

The "what questions is our buyer typing into Google at 11pm when they're frustrated" reframe is the right one. Most keyword research starts from the product's perspective. Starting from the buyer's pain state at the moment they search gets you to completely different content.

Reddit + G2 + Trustpilot mining is underused as a research method. It's messy but it surfaces the exact language buyers use when no one's watching, which is exactly what you want for content that ranks and converts.

What did the 90-day results actually look like in numbers? Traffic, rankings, or downstream trial/signup data?
