Honestly, today was tough.
I spent the whole day doing the "Indie Hacker Hustle" for my tool, Tasquery. Posting on X, replying to comments on LinkedIn, launching on PeerPush, submitting to IndieAIs, tracking mentions on Reddit...
The context switching is brutal. As devs, we are used to deep focus. But organic marketing feels like having 20 browser tabs screaming at you at the same time. I love building my product, but this early-stage marketing chaos is testing my limits.
I finally set up a simple Trello board (Inbox -> Filter -> Sprint) just to offload my brain, but I still feel like I'm all over the place.
How do you guys survive the initial marketing phase? Do you dedicate specific days just for marketing, or do you do a little bit every day? I need your workflow tips before I go crazy. 🙏
