I need alpha testers to validate the feasibility of my idea

Hey, Indie Hackers!

I’m building a product that helps hackers, entrepreneurs, freelancers, and otherwise ambitious people to reduce the amount of mindless consumption (like spending hours on social media or YouTube), and turn it in quick motivation to switch into production mode (like building your product, learning a new tool, or just exercising).

Imagine if annoying and pesky ads that you see on these social and streaming platforms suddenly became motivational pictures and videos reminding you that you have work to do and goals to achieve?

That is precisely what I’m building.

The challenge that I’m facing is that for most of the platforms, I need at least 100 people minimum to start showing this type of ad.

That is why I’m asking you to join me as an alpha tester on this journey. All I need is the email that you used to sign up for Facebook or Twitter (I’m starting with these platforms initially), and very soon, you’ll be able to download a mobile app to "hack your ads" on YouTube as well.

The goal of this experiment is to validate that the product can actually work and solve the problem and that it is feasible business-wise (i.e., how much it’d cost to make a dent in the ads that you see, and whether there is a business model that can cover for this cost).

If you are interested, please send me an email at alex [at] foundsiders [dot] com.

Also, feel free to ask any questions in the comments below and tell me what you think about such a product.

I'm not sure what your idea is. Can you summarize it in a sentence?

Replace annoying ads on these media platforms with motivational videos of your choice (e.g., about your goal of launching a product, or exercising more, or going through the course, etc.)
