I need help with a billing solution!

nice and simple - I am launching a productized service, the flow is - I get a customer, I get them a contract for my services - month by month, first two months required, quit anytime after that, I charge them before I start but just for the first month, they sign the contract, I then need to send them to somewhere (stripe? Quickbooks?) with a simple link where they enter their billing info and CC info - and I get notified they are in - I need their company name, billing contact, etc. and ideally it whacks their cc for the first month at that moment.

I then want it to automatically hit their CC once a month after that without me doing anything (except dealing with cancellations). If I cant get it on auto-pilot then I want to be able to go in and check off all the customers to be billed for that month (by the week they signed up). branded is better and easily recorded/exported for tax purposes is a plus. I mostly am just after the simplest way to get someone onto automatic recurring billing.

I would use Stripe. You sign up, create a product ( subscription for your services), send a manual invoice for them to pay via email and you are done. If you would prefer a link they have a solve for that too https://stripe.com/payments/payment-links?utm_campaign=13196977157&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_content=523171841679&utm_term=payment links&utm_matchtype=p&utm_adposition=&utm_device=c&gclid=Cj0KCQjwpv2TBhDoARIsALBnVnkfpo0g5y8St0_9bWEHKTMSx58WX_rJ7yn5JJCP_oi4QELe8G2ilEkaAk_2EALw_wcB

The only tricky part to what you described is charging the first two month up front. I believe there is a way to accelerate payments, but if not you could do a one-off invoice before sending the subscription invoice for the monthly.

Thank you for that. I wish they did a better job of making it clear on stripe.

Personally I use stipe as well. However, I believe Paypal has the option to make the client to pay for two months in advance.

I’m pretty sure Stripe has a billing portal. You can just use that for checkout, and to start a subscription.
