I need tips with Stripe

Yo hackers!

I am building my first project for over a year now and hit a point where I have to make some decisions on payment and billing.

The project is essentialy a marketplace, and here are my considered options, although I am still researching:

1. Users put their products out, and buyers use cards for every purchase.

2. Users deposit a balance and then proceed with their purchases. I feel like this option fits a lot better as marketplace is intended to present subscription based products as well.

This also kind of enables other types of interactions, example: user sold their product, has a balance, and may purchase other products without multiple card transactions.

I am also wondering what is the standard on proceeding with payouts to users that sold their products and would like to withdraw their earnings

As I said, this is my first project, so I am kindly asking for what makes sense to experienced developers before moving on to the next steps.
