I was annoyed by the unnecessary introductions and intro music and other unnecessary content attached with 'tutorial/how to' videos on Youtube. So, I created an online tool to save Youtube videos trimming out those content.
This is my website: SummaryPanda site URL
Here is the producthunt launch page: Producthunt Link
I promoted nowhere. I created the site and submitted to Producthunt. So far I have 29 upvotes (well 7 of them are from my friends).
I'm one of those guys who doesn't know what to talk with other people and kind of a nerd and I code. Of course I have the urge to network with many people (even for casual conversations apart from just for promotional motives). But the thing is I don't know how.
What advise do you give for a guy like me to get some connections through Indiehackers.com?
I am working on another product, and I don't want to be that guy who launched summarypanda.com. If you have any tips or would like to network with me, come on!! I'm open. :)
Lesson learned: Start networking, god damn it!! or else, settle for 22 upvotes.
Hey Jaga, congrats on the launch! I'm very much in the same situation in which I don't consider myself an excellent networker but would love to network. My approach has been to jump into conversations here on IH and add value where I can (while I work on a product of my own). Keep doing that and working on your products and you'll do great!
Great advise!!
What happened to that guy who launched summarypanda.com?
It's me, he created this post.
😂That's awkward. You're already doing better than him!
well thank you man LOL.
