I no longer have a 9 - 5 job

Ever since launching sailscasts.com and aiming for $5,000/month since 2020, I've had to hold down a 9 - 5 in order to pay the bills.

Even though I get the reasoning behind trying to have various side projects on the side and having a 9 - 5 for the time being, I think 3 years is enough and right now I want to go all in on indie hacking on my commercial project(hagfish.io, sailscasts.com, and sailscasts.com/guppy)

This is a scary decision but it's one I have wanted for a long time and the plan is to 10x what I earned in my last 9 - 5 via

• Commercial projects,

• Content creation,

• And open source

No I don't have it all figured out especially financially but at the same time, it's what I've always wanted to do all along.

I have had underwhelming successes with my commercial projects but now with the freedom of not having a 9 - 5, I plan to go all in with more quality focus.

I'll keep you all posted with actual earnings for as long as I can.
