I overhauled the SEO and AEO on my site. Here's exactly what I did.

I built a collection of free Framer templates and spent months on the product. Then I realized the site was basically invisible.

So I did a full SEO and AEO overhaul. AEO stands for Answer Engine Optimization, which is about getting your content picked up by AI tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity, not just Google.

Here's what I actually did:

Rewrote all the copy. Homepage, template index, all 9 individual template pages, about, services, contact. Every page got tighter headlines, clearer descriptions, and copy written for how people actually search.

Added structured schema markup everywhere. FAQPage schema on every page with an FAQ section. Organization, Person, and Blog schema at the site level. This is what helps AI tools understand and cite your content.

Fixed a critical Framer mistake. I had added custom canonical tags via code injection. Framer generates canonical tags natively, so I was creating duplicates. Removed 17 custom canonical scripts across the site.

Launched a blog targeting low-competition queries. Six articles published so far, each targeting a specific niche query with almost no existing competition. The goal is topical authority over time.

Rewrote the LLMS.txt file. This is a plain-text file that tells AI crawlers what your site is about. I host it on GitHub Pages and keep it updated.

Result: AEO visibility score went from around 60% to 95% with zero critical issues remaining.

The site is built entirely in Framer with no custom code help. Everything I did is replicable by any solo founder. Happy to go deeper on any of it.
