I had a business idea and wanted Iman Gadzhi’s take on it, so I paid to ask his AI twin.
The advice was genuinely useful. It broke down my idea in detail and responded using the same terms and frameworks Iman uses in his content. It felt much closer to asking him directly than searching through hours of videos.
That gave me the idea for Padro.
Padro helps creators and experts monetize their knowledge by turning their videos, podcasts, courses, newsletters and other content into an AI twin their audience can pay to use.
I’m still early, and there’s one thing I really want to find out: If you’ve built an audience around what you know, would you pay to create your own AI twin?
What would it need to do for you to feel worth paying for?
Just to be clear, I’m not connected to Iman or his team. I was simply a paying user of Ask Iman.
You were the buyer in that story, and the person you are selling to now is the seller, which is a different decision. As a buyer I would pay because the frameworks were scarce and I trusted where they came from. As a creator, the first question is whether this eats what I already sell. If a twin answers well enough, the cohort or the coaching call starts looking optional, and that is usually the highest margin thing on the shelf. So what it would need to do is be deliberately worse on some axis I choose: answer the frequent questions and hand the rest back to me. A twin that is too good is a competitor you built yourself.
