I pivoted my idea and now I want to build in public

I relaunch my project mvpmaker.co a month ago, "I want to provide full functionality templates for developers", now I am starting with landing pages with functionality.

I am excited to build it in public, but I am so confused about how works, I will use Twitter to share my updates, but I don't have a community. What are the requirements for build in public? and is ok if my project is not built from scratch? or I need to choose a new project?
