after 48 IH posts with $0 revenue, i made a strategic shift. instead of posting more IH articles, i wrote 5 devto articles targeting specific google search keywords. heres the thinking.
the articles i published today:
why devto over IH: devto has massive domain authority on google. articles rank for search keywords within days. IH uses a firebase SPA that google struggles to index well.
each article has 3 gumroad product links embedded. if even one article ranks on page 1 for its target keyword, it drives actual buyer traffic — not just IH readers who upvote but never buy.
the keyword strategy — im targeting keywords that actual buyers would search:
none of these searchers are on IH. theyre on google.
