I realised I could frame my product in a bunch of different ways with different landing pages and keywords

A friend of mine pays for Ahrefs (SEO tool) and let me log in for the afternoon a couple of weeks ago. I was analysing some of my competitors and realised they are ranking for some keywords that I would never have considered targeting.

For some context, my product - NightCafe Creator - is an AI Art Generator, so until I stumbled upon these keywords I'd been focused on ranking for "AI Art Generator" and similar phrases.

Ahrefs helped me discover that some of my competitors are ranking for seemingly unrelated keywords like "Pet Portraits". Pet Portraits are a great use-case for my product, and one that I hadn't previously considered. Not only that, but some of these keywords have a much lower difficulty than my main keywords.

"Pet Portraits" is the first keyword I'm going to target with a landing page, but this little revelation gives me a whole new set of options for SEO.

Here's the landing page - Pet Portraits - I'd appreciate any recommendations around content, link building ideas, etc.

I see multiple of my clients implement this successfully. The great thing is if you already have a converting landing page on one keyword, you can generally implement it across tons of keywords. You may even consider automatically generating them. For example, you could target 100s of global landmarks. I saw the sydney operahouse on your site. So, target portraits of every major global landmark. Or geography, etc. etc. Then just have some default copy with some words that get changed out and you can automatically build them. This would be the longtail keyword strategy, so you may only be getting a couple people on many of these but with 100s of pages that can turn into thousands of potential customers.

I'm not an expert, but it looks good and well implemented to me. And bravo, it's a great idea.
