For a long time, I thought my productivity issues were caused by lack of discipline.
After paying closer attention to my days, I realized something uncomfortable:
I was forcing deep work at the worst moments of my energy cycle.
Planning tasks without considering energy, biology, or mental fatigue felt like working against myself.
So I built Havyl OS — a small tool that helps me decide what to do based on my energy:
deep work, light tasks, planning, or rest.
I recently launched it and I’m not chasing hype or numbers right now.
I’m genuinely looking for feedback from people who struggle with energy-based decisions.
If this resonates with you, I’d love to hear:
– how do you decide what to work on when your energy is low?
– do you plan tasks around energy, or push through anyway?
