Building, Hustling working on a seed of an idea is something that your born with.
To find motivation everyday, can only come from something you truly love and believe in. I guess you can say you need to be slightly deluded. Which I am haha!
But I truly love the design world,
The experience of seeing a client happy is like no other and I know you can agree on that.
So, this is my journey so far and perhaps it can motivate you in the start-up your doing.
Where I currently stand with my design subscription service, is something I am proud of, even though its not life changing.
I found whats interesting is that the subscriptions I've built with catered to web design or mobile design. But, with how times are right now these days a price tag of 457/mo or 600/mo would be annoying.
So, What do I do to remove that friction? well, I made sure I kept a great relationship with all my clients, making sure 1-2 weeks I check up on them and just building a close relationship, because business is more than just a dollar its a experience.
Most importantly, by understanding others situations. With each subscription I bring down the price tag godfathering them in... This has kept my clients on now, more like a maintenance deal.
For example, you get a web designed but then you need it developed no problem - I offer that, we can do 3 options wordpress (we host: what i target), webflow or framer - after its done, i just have a simple convo, and i tell them:
"I loved working on your business with you... for that I want to make sure i can always take care of you and your needs, the subscription you have it will only be 99/m I will take care of your website anytime you submit a request. or i see something i can take care of for you. your own personal manager i guess... haha :)"
That in itself brought the most amazing clients to Trilogy, bringing me from February to date 6k in profit and $990 in recurring profit a month. With 10 clients now on a maintenance plan and 2-paused just need sometime developing the product before web development.
Like I said its not life changing, but hey doing something you enjoy is amazing! and working with people to work on their ideas is the best feeling especially when they love it.
People have feelings and emotions tied to what they believe in, and if you can captivate that in any way, whether its through your software, or service you will have people forever believing in you & your product.

Interesting you kept the pricing "low" compared to competitors offering like only product designs for $5k/month.
But cool idea anyway. I thought myself about productized service, but I'm not sure what I could run, as I'm a Software Engineer and offering dev services wouldn't make much sense as productized version :/
It feels managing multiple clients while designing is much "easier" than coding multiple projects at once :/

This doesn't look very sustainable, does it? I wondering what are your monthly costs. What happens if all of your recurring clients come with requests in same week (black Friday) for example. Do you have capacity to fulfill the 48h promise? Honestly, I admire this hustle. I can manage 3 clients at the same time, but definitely not more than that. Well done.
