Sounds great on the surface, but the reason unlimited design service offerings work is everything comes down to pixels. Whether your task is to design a flyer for a concert or design the homepage of a dating app, you're still essentially moving and adjusting pixels on a screen.
With software development you can have a world of complexity behind simple task requests.

I break everything into as simple a task as possible. I stick to Python Django and Vuejs. By limiting the technology stack by making Templates and using Component Libraries, I reduce the complexity to a minimum.

Hi, It's an interesting way to market your service. How many hour do you dedicate by client at this cost ? How unlimitted this service is really unlimitted ? I assume that this mean user can pile as many request he can in your backlog but you will always work on a single task at a time. How many concurrent client will you take ? I'd like to offer the same "package" but I'm not sure about how it work internally.
The client is given unlimited Tasks, and I do one task at a time. We have an interview, to figure out how many things need to be done. I on average work with 2 clients at a time. I can work with more, just on average 2 at a time.
This business model can work if the customers exactly know what their expectations are. In my experience, there are a lot of clients that need to be guided and be told how a software stack can solve their problem and ultimately make an impact. So for simple jobs like apps, websites, or micro SaaS projects, this model might work. For complex projects, 15 Zoom minutes will not be sufficient.
You just described my target audience.
Everybody seem to love the Designjoy’s business model and are adapting it to what they do, but I honestly don’t fully understand how this subscription for a service is different from, or beats, hiring full time or contract workers.
Hm, we tried doing this for building no-code AI agents as service. Somewhat productized it (idea obviously copied over from Brett at Designjoy.
Turn out I'm terrible at running an agency no matter if it's productized or not. I just don't enjoy it.
