I scraped emails , then what ... How should i contact customers ?

I scrapped a bunch of emails on Linkedin. I would like to use Mailchimp to send emails to potential customers but I m not sure I would get maximum impact doing this. Should I use my personal email instead to make it more personal ?

This stage is important as it validates my business side.

Personally I would just prepare a template that addresses the person directly. Using your personal email might be a good hack so that it does not seem too commercial. But in the end, let's be honest everyone knows when is receiving sales messages. Thus don't lose too many resources in this step and just send the email, cause there will never be a perfect email.

I wouldn't use a personal email and risk getting flagged as spam. How many emails do you plan on sending?

it's for validation purpose so between 50 - 100 Max.

What is your goal exactly with this? What metrics are you using to base validation on?

50 - 100 is a pretty small quantity and cold, unsolicited emails typically have very low response rates.

Is this one step of a larger process?

The aim is to recruit more experienced professionals to mentor less experienced one. So I scrapped their email on Linkedin.

OK, but what is the CTA? Are you asking people to reply back, fill out some sort of form or survey, etc.? Are they committing to something, expressing some sort of general level of interest, requesting more information, etc.?

I do think you could bet better than average response if you execute it right, since you can play to people's egos a bit. The key is to make it as easy and frictionless as possible and get as personalized as you can.

Hopefully that helps. Best of luck.

Don't use Mailchimp for this. As far as I know it's against Mailchimp's terms of service to send emails you've scrapped / sourced (where people haven't opted in).

For 50 - 100 emails I would just send them manually and use Streak CRM to track open rates. If you want to automate this I would use something like https://woodpecker.co/

Be open and honest with the recipient about where you got their contact info from.

👆 this. Mailchimp will ban you. Their service is for permission based emailing. Same for things like convertkit, active campaign, Aweber, email octopus, etc.

You need a dedicated tool for cold emailing if you’re going to do it in bulk. Woodpecker, lemlist, etc. There are many.
