Best social media for newsletters? Do you focus on one or multiple?
Hey @AntCas, what statistics did the buyer look for exactly for your newsletter and how did they justify the price?
The newsletter: https://boteatbrain.com/
Valuation: $50,000
Subscribers at the time of sale: ~1500 (end of March)
Subscribers now: ~3000
How did you grow your subscriber count?
Right now paid ads are our number one source of growth. We are also growing from word of mouth, hosting events, organic search and shoutouts from other newsletters.
Interesting thanks. Where do newsletters typically advertise? I have a newsletter at https://interessant3.substack.com and I'd be keen to know how to get more eyeballs on it.
I've been advertising in other newsletters, Facebook, Instagram, & Twitter.
How much do you typically spend to advertise your newsletter on other newsletters? What kind of metrics do you track?
