I spent 17 years as a music editor. Now I’ve built a minimalist RSS reader with AI to fight algorithms.

Hi everyone, I'm Takeshi. After nearly two decades in the music media industry, I felt a deep crisis about how algorithms are narrowing our perspectives. I wanted a tool that doesn't "recommend" anything but lets me curate the world myself.

I developed "SelfCuration" in about 10 days, struggling alongside AI. It’s a "subtraction" product—no cloud sync, no AI summaries, just a pure environment for human-driven curation.

v1.6 is out now with enhanced stability and user freedom. I’d love to connect with fellow indie hackers who value digital minimalism and information autonomy!
