I spent 20 years using "bolted-on" legacy software. So I built my own vertical SaaS.

I’ve spent two decades in Healthcare Technology Management (HTM)—basically, the folks who manage and maintain medical equipment in hospitals.

A massive pain point in our industry: the software we use was never actually built for us. The platforms are either Facilities software (built for buildings, not medical devices) or IT ticketing systems. The medical equipment features were just bolted onto the side.

You can feel the seams every time you use it. Core workflows are treated as "accommodations" rather than native features.

So, I decided to scratch my own itch and build BiomedDesk from the ground up, starting with how a biomed department actually works.

I'm in the super early stages right now and looking to get it shaped by daily users rather than my own assumptions. For those of you building SaaS in legacy-dominated industries (like healthcare, construction, or legal): how did you get your very first beta testers to take a chance on an early product?
