I spent 6 months building a tool to fix a problem I lived as an electrician

I used to be an electrician. I always answered my phone — I knew every missed call was a missed job. Most tradespeople don't. Not because they don't care, but because they're on a job, up a ladder, under a floorboard. You can't stop mid-task to answer.

But as a customer? You don't see that. You just call the next number on Google.

I've been on both sides of this. As a customer trying to book a plumber, it's genuinely painful. You call five numbers. Half don't answer. One calls back two days later. You've already moved on.

So I spent 6 months building VoxBot — an AI call handler built specifically for tradespeople. It answers when they can't, qualifies the caller, and helps them track jobs so nothing falls through the cracks.

We launched this week. Zero users. Hoping to change that.

If you're a tradesperson, or you've ever tried to book one — I'd love to hear from you. Does this resonate? What am I missing?
