Every day I found myself doing the same thing over and over:
Need ChatGPT? Alt+Tab.
Need to check Gmail? Alt+Tab.
Open a link from Slack? Alt+Tab.
Reply on WhatsApp? Alt+Tab.
Check a quick document? Alt+Tab.
None of these tasks take more than a few seconds.
The switching does.
After repeating that hundreds of times a day, I started wondering why we're still managing windows instead of just accessing what we need.
So I built SiteQuest.
It's a lightweight desktop companion for Windows and macOS that lets you summon any website instantly from the side of your screen with a hotkey. When you're done, hide it and continue exactly where you left off.
Instead of opening another browser window, you can keep tools like ChatGPT, Gmail, Notion, WhatsApp, GitHub, Google Docs—or any website—one shortcut away.
Some things it has:
Save your favorite sites.
AI text enhancement.
Extension support.
Ad blocker.
Incognito mode.
BYOK for AI providers.
Customizable sidebar.
One thing I learned while building this:
Building the product was the easy part.
Getting people to discover it has been much harder. I spent months polishing features, then realized nobody cares until they actually try it.
I'm now looking for honest feedback rather than trying to collect users for the sake of numbers.
So I'm not here to pitch—I'm here to learn.
