I spent months watching WordPress bloggers pay $429/month and STILL do all the work manually. So I built the thing that was missing.
This is embarrassing to admit.
I almost didn't build Rudnexx because I thought someone smarter had already built it.
They hadn't.
Here's the gap I kept seeing:
Every WordPress AI content tool on the market does one of two things:
- Charges you credits per article (so you're paying forever, per post)
- OR gives you BYOK (bring your own API key) but makes you manually trigger every single post yourself
Nobody was doing both. BYOK + real automation. Set it and it runs.
Arvow charges $429/month and still requires manual work.
GetGenie charges $99/month in credits.
WPAutoBlog caps you at 100 articles/month for $49.
AI Engine is the best BYOK plugin but has zero scheduling — every post is 100% manual.
The "set it and forget it" WordPress AI blogger literally did not exist.
So I built it. Today I launched Rudnexx at rudnex.in.
Here's what it does:
→ You install the WordPress plugin
→ Paste your own API key (Gemini free tier, Groq free, OpenAI, Claude, 100+ providers)
→ Set a schedule
→ Walk away
The plugin auto-generates posts, scores each one 0–100 for SEO, and shows those scores as color-coded badges directly inside your WordPress All Posts list — green 80+, yellow 50+, red below 50. You can see the SEO health of your entire site at a glance without opening a single post.
It also finds a relevant YouTube video for each topic and embeds it before the 2nd heading (not the bottom — mid-post placement keeps readers on the page longer and sends better dwell time signals to Google).
All using native WP-Cron. No external servers. Works on any shared hosting plan.
The API math is kind of wild once you see it:
Google Gemini Flash 2.0 free tier → ~1 million tokens/day
A 1,500-word blog post → ~2,000 tokens
Result → ~500 free articles per day
Meanwhile Arvow is charging $429/month for 10 sites.
Rudnexx: $49/month. Unlimited articles. Your own free key.
The feature I'm most proud of — and honestly the one I didn't expect to matter this much:
The live SEO score badges in the WordPress Posts list.
No competitor does this. Not one. They all show SEO scores somewhere in their external dashboards or inside individual post editors. But nobody puts a live 0–100 badge right in the WP Posts list where you can see every post's health at a glance.
It sounds small. But when I saw it working for the first time I realized it changes how you think about your content library.
