I spent weeks putting together pieces of entrepreneurial wisdom; but in MEMES. You read that right.

Hey Indie hacker,

When I got my first smartphone at around 14 (it was a generic Chinese phone with Android 2.3), I made my first meme within weeks.

Since then, I made thousands of them, but over the years, it has slowly dawned on me that their power goes beyond mere internet humor. I have come across random "educative" memes about relationships, social life, tech, politics, etc., that have somehow stuck with me like life lessons.

I'll be going about my normal life and think, "Wait, I learned somewhere that I shouldn't do this," so I decide not to. In this case the "somewhere" isn't some lecture or bestseller book, it's an incredibly accurate meme I saw 6 years ago, while mindlessly scrolling social media on a lazy afternoon. Never could I imagine that that little giggle it gave me would somehow implant the idea in me enough to affect decisions years later. Feels weird now that I come to think of it.

As an Indie Hacker, and looking at how dry the world of business education is, I had a shower thought. If memes can be so memorable, why not use them to distill complex ideas into funny, relatable nuggets? Why not build some kind of "meme-based educational content"? Would that even catch on? Well, there was only one way to find out, I thought. And since I'm not the person who would be afraid of trying new things, I built Memes That Pay.

Sometimes even in the stressful entrepreneurship life, maybe it can be a good idea to take a step back and laugh at oneself, and not take things too seriously. That's why I'm eager to see what this little fun project will bring. Thanks for reading!
