I spent weeks researching indie app developer pain points. One problem kept coming up.

Hey everyone!

I'm a 17-year-old CS student and have been spending the last few weeks researching problems indie app developers face.

One issue kept appearing across Reddit, developer forums, and blog posts: keeping up with constantly changing App Store and Google Play policies is harder than it should be.

So I decided to build Veravo, a tool that tracks the policies that actually apply to your app and explains them in plain English, so you don't have to monitor every policy update yourself.

I'm still early in the journey, and I'd love honest feedback from developers who have shipped apps.

What's been your biggest frustration with App Store or Google Play compliance? Is there something you wish existed to make it easier?

Looking forward to learning from your experiences!

The policy tracking is valuable, but I'd keep validating what developers are actually hiring Veravo to do. The bigger opportunity may not be monitoring policy changes—it may be reducing the uncertainty that every app update could introduce an unnoticed compliance risk.
