For years I’ve been doing the productivity dance, and I’m sure many of you know exactly what I mean.
I wanted to track my time, habits, and goals, but no single tool ever did it well enough.
One app had a decent calendar.
Another had good time tracking.
Another did goals.
Another did heatmaps.
But nothing connected them.
And definitely nothing compared my actual recorded time to my planned schedule, the key insight I cared most about.
So I ended up juggling 3–4 apps and feeling more overwhelmed than productive.
Eventually I decided: I’ll just build the thing I’ve always wanted.
Introducing Habit Goal
I built Habit Goal to bring everything together in one clean, easy place:
Plan your schedule in a custom calendar
Track real time entries with simple start/pause buttons
Automatically compare planned vs. actual to see where your day really goes
Visualize habits with heatmaps and streaks
Create custom goals with progress bars and checkpoints
Plot metrics to understand long-term patterns
It works on the web (desktop + mobile), and iOS/Android apps are in the works.
Is it perfect yet? Probably not.
But it does finally combine the features I’ve wanted for years — and I’m excited to share it with others who are tired of stitching together multiple tools just to understand their own time.
