I started a blog.

I started a blog. I kind of don't have a plan.

In the past I started an iOS programming blog which I shut down due to burn out.

I created a site focused on sharing good news but I didn't know what to do.

I then created an MVP app which would help restaurants and bars to host trivia but I realized no one wants an automated system, they would outsource that to other company, or the owner would host the trivia and they would loved researching and coming up with their questions and were satisfied with how manual it was. The most important part, none of them were worried about getting in touch with their players over email because they know people will always come back.

I always thought of joining this community and now I am.

I don't know what I am looking for but for now I am happy with the progress I have made with the blog and I am positive that things will fall into place if I doing my part.

Congratulations! I finally pulled a blog together in November/December after years of saying "I take a lot of notes on random things; I should use them for something..."

The final push was hearing Scott Hanselman talk about how most of his blog posts are things people asked him about, so that he's maximizing his use of time by answering questions for everyone (and having a URL to send people in the future) instead of coming up with a bespoke answer every time through.

That's a great reason to start a blog and it does give you ideas for more posts. By the way what is the URL of your blog?

        Oh, that might help. https://john.colagioia.net/blog
I jump between topics, but have been trying to contain the broad ideas to days of the week. I finished looking at the Free Software social networks, so Saturdays might become pointers to Creative Commons-licensed stories media, to give them what little boost I can.

Congrats! Seems like you're really on a roll with posting. I'm also thinking about starting a blog...! Inspiring :)

Just do it! don't overthink it... that approach helped me to set it up quickly. Good luck. I do need a personal site like yours though. I will start working on it
