I started a business at a stupid time but...

"One year ago, I left a full-stack development internship midway and decided to start my own digital product development agency, RavSam.

There was a lockdown in India and everyone was shutting their businesses and it made me feel nervous about my decision. As a backup plan, I got myself enrolled in a Master's Program in CSE.

But sometimes taking the risks pay off.

I reached out to few local businesses regarding their need for a Mobile app for their business. Luckily, one of them responded and I started learning Flutter. I delivered the product before the one-month deadline. Impressed by my work, they provided me with more projects and I accomplished them successfully.

Six months into the game, I started writing for technical blogs on the Internet to get some credibility. I wrote for CSS Tricks and Vonage and got a good response from the community.

My next target was to work with some international company as it would really help me get out my name in other continents. I interviewed for Toptal but they rejected me saying that I was short of 6 months of experience. But I kept faith that one day I would work with an International organization. And it happened!

I have bagged my first International collaboration with CloudAnswers. My sincere thanks to all the hard-working Indie Hackers out there. I have learned so much from you guys. Looking forward to the next challenges.

PS: Drop me an email at [email protected] in case you want to talk about anything. I reply to all emails I receive. Or even better subscribe to my newsletter 📬.
