4 months back I started http://jimm.ml/ which is a gym management software getting 53 signups all from India and 3 paid gym owners collectively they added around 750 members but now due to this Covid there is no growth if I ask someone they say now it's difficult for them to use my platform but still, there is a cost of servers which I used to pay 5$ a month so what should I do
A) shut down the site and try to sell these 750 members data
B) open to suggestions
Feels terrible
It sounds like you had some traction, even if it was a little. I would be patient and come back to trying to grow the site once conditions improve (which they will, but it's a matter of how long). This could mean leaving it running quietly or turning things off for a while.
How did you approach these 750 members? are all these members paying customers? Did you emailed them or did you use any platform to reach out to these members? I am also techie about I have poor sales & marketing skills. I want some advice on how to approach customers and try to sell the product.
These are the gym members I never reach them I reach the person who know them "gym owners" I find the number From Jd and call them individually probably 100 of them and then WhatsApp later I realised A simple whatsapp automation helps me so I make one and send around 3500 WhatsApp and I get 60 signup
For WhatsApp messages always right message like how you help them won't be spammy and always end you message so they have to something to reply
Hi Anish, as you mentioned you pay $5 per month for servers. I wanted to know are you hosting your application on digital ocean?
Using linode
See is you can find any blogs: on this Company MindBody and how they survived COVID
https://www.mindbodyonline.com/
Because of COVID you need to help the gym owners go Virtual - Virtual Workouts and or Private Sessions with their trainers and the Gym Members. How can you keep any money flow from the Members to the Gym owners??? All of the Dating sites doing LIVE Video events on Weekends......Can you have Live Yoga Broadcast and make cool event?
Thanks,I ask about this but no one seems exited I also asked are they are finding for such solutions but most of them say no.😣
That's a bummer. You could let your customers know that you're taking a break until things open back up, then shut it down temporarily until your prospects look better. Or you could shut it down and try to sell your project on a startup marketplace.
Selling your members' data doesn't seem like an ethical option to me.
Good luck!
I also feel same about data things, and yes I try to sell this with micro acquire and they said this is not good fit for them I guess the way its looks its really bad 🤐🤔
