I started a transcription agency, would love feedback on my offering
Context: I originally built a Saas around generating transcripts for meetings. I ended up pivoting that idea into a productized service. I realized that since I'd built a bunch of tools that help generate transcripts faster, I could provide a cheaper + more convenient transcription service than what currently exists in the market.
That was how shobot.io was born. I want to start working with podcasters/media companies in general, so if any of you are looking for a transcription agency or have used one in the past, I'd love to get your feedback.
As a DIY podcaster in my spare time, my first reaction is that the pricing seems high compared to other, automated / machine learning transcription services out there. Perhaps things would be different for me if I had more of a budget to invest in the quality of my podcast, but at the moment, price would be the primary thing I'm looking for.
Another idea: could you optimize the transcripts somehow to improve SEO search? That way you're providing added value, instead of competing in an already busy transcription market.
