I started building this in React. Then it struck me that 99% can be done with no code.

Hey! I'm currently working on https://companies.tools – it's a verified "used by these teams" list of tech products. Right now anyone can put a logo of your company on their landing page and there'd be no way to verify that.

On companies.tools products publish their tool stacks and a network of use/used by is created.

At first I thought I'd be doing this all in React. I started working on it but then it struck me – this all can be done in Webflow CMS.

I'm going to share a few insights on how I did stuff:

   This gives very powerful tools to work with Webflow CMS. And it's free!

2. Zapier, of course. One of the main problems for me was product submission. Here's how I solved it:
   There's a "Publish" button which is actually a fake door. It's a simple form that consists of two inputs – URL and company email. On submission this info is sent to my Slack and email marketing service. I check it out and if the product is interesting enough I create an entry for them in CMS. Only thing that's different is there a toggle "invited". Based on this the whole layout of the collection page changes into a submit more info about this product form.

This link is then sent to the company email (it's a verification you actually work there). Completion rate is pretty good because it's a very personal touch – there's a whole page created just for your product asking you to provide just a bit more info.

This page is also very dynamic. It lists categories from a collection and gives you the whole list of available products with search to select which ones your company uses.

Now on this submit all this info goes straight into the CMS item and another notification drops into a Slack channel. All I have to do is go through it and if everything's ok, publish.

There's a lot more plans for automations, especially for email campaigns. I'm thinking of sending automatic emails to the owner of the product if some other products starts using them.

3. Mixpanel analytics. Thanks to this article: https://savannahar68.medium.com/integrate-mixpanel-with-webflow-63134acbfc64 I was able to create a very in-depth dashboard tracking user behaviour with custom attributes.

Overall this experience only proved that no-code is the future and pretty much nothing is impossible.
