Hey Indie Hackers 👋
I’m Emma, an indie maker.
This started as a very simple idea:
I just needed a decent logo for landing pages and MVPs without spending days or hundreds of dollars.
So I built a small AI logo generator.
After sharing it with a few founders, something interesting happened — people kept asking for more than just a logo.
That’s when it slowly evolved into AI Logo Creator 👉 https://www.ailogocreator.io
Today, it helps generate different brand visual assets in a few ways:
Text → logo (describe your brand)
Image or sketch → logo (rough idea → clean design)
Letter-based logos for simple brand names
Simple logo animations & mockups for launch pages
My main goal isn’t to replace designers — it’s to help indie founders move faster when launching ideas.
I’m still early and figuring out the direction, so I’d really love feedback from this community:
Which part of this would actually be useful for you?
Does “logo + brand assets” make sense, or should it stay more focused?
What would stop you from using a tool like this?
Thanks for reading — happy to answer any questions 🙏
Totally get this.
Early on, I remember spending way too much time just trying to put together a “good enough” logo for MVPs, especially knowing it might pivot anyway.
Being able to move fast without over-investing in brand assets makes a lot of sense at that stage.
100% — the goal at MVP stage is speed, not perfection. I used to overthink logos too, and then the product name/positioning would change a week later 😅
I’m building this to remove that friction: quick logo → usable brand kit (colors/fonts/social assets) without over-investing early. Would love your feedback: what would make it “good enough” for you to ship confidently?
For me, even at the MVP stage, “good enough” branding means it doesn’t feel amateurish.
It doesn’t have to be highly polished or perfectly expressive yet, but it should feel reasonably professional.
I also don’t need it to capture the full essence of the product, as long as it doesn’t misrepresent it.
As long as the branding doesn’t make people think it’s a completely different kind of product, or create a strong sense of mismatch, that’s enough for me to ship.
