I stopped selling “AI” — and people started paying attention

I think I’ve been positioning my product wrong.

I’m building a SaaS template (landing page + dashboard) to help founders launch faster.

At first, I focused on the “AI” angle.

But after talking to people, I realized:
Nobody really cares about “AI”.

They care about:
→ saving time
→ launching faster
→ not building everything from scratch

So I tested a different angle:

“I built a SaaS landing + dashboard in 1 day instead of 1–2 weeks.”

And that started getting more interest.

Now I’m shifting my focus to:
→ freelancers building SaaS for clients
→ founders trying to launch MVPs quickly

Also experimenting with making it not just a product, but a distribution channel (30% commission per sale).

Still early — trying to get the first few sales through direct outreach before scaling.

Curious:

If you were in my place, what would you double down on right now?

    Also curious:

If anyone here enjoys distribution / outreach, I’m looking for a few people to collaborate on selling this.

    I offer 30% commission per sale — I handle product + delivery.

Could be a fun experiment to close the first few sales together 👍
