I stopped trying to predict which ideas would work

I used to spend a lot of time trying to figure out if an idea was “the one” before I built anything. I’d think through positioning, edge cases, long term potential. Most of those ideas never made it past planning.

Eventually I realized I was asking the wrong question. Instead of trying to predict success, I needed to test faster. The moment something is live, the market gives clearer answers than your head ever will.

That shift is why I built ShipAhead. It helps me turn AI SaaS ideas into real, usable products quickly enough that feedback shows up before doubt takes over.

Now I don’t try to be right upfront. I try to get real signals as soon as possible. Speed replaced speculation.

This hits home. I spent ages planning features I was sure would matter and the thing that actually moved the needle was something I almost didn't build. Shipping and letting users tell you what works beats guessing every time. What was the biggest surprise for you — something you nearly cut that ended up being important?
