I surveyed solopreneurs about their marketing. The results shocked me.

Last summer, I decided to dig into the actual struggles solopreneurs and small business owners face when trying to run paid ads. I expected to hear complaints about rising ad costs or creative fatigue.

Instead, the real bottleneck was much more fundamental: 80% of them had no idea what their KPIs meant, or what to do with them.

They were looking at a 2.5 ROAS on a Meta dashboard and completely guessing their next move:

  • Should I scale this?

  • Should I kill the ad?

  • Is this data even accurate?

Seeing this gap, I went looking for software that could help them. I found plenty of powerful analytics tools, but quickly realized a glaring problem: No marketing tool is actually built for solopreneurs.

The existing platforms are built by enterprise marketers, for enterprise marketers. They are dense, overly complex, and leave non-technical founders drowning in vanity metrics. My niche didn't need more raw data; they were already overwhelmed by it. They needed absolute clarity.

That’s exactly when the lightbulb went off.

If the tools out there only show you what happened, who is building the tool that tells a solo founder why it happened and what to do next in plain English?

That thought is how Xolora was born.

I decided to stop waiting for someone else to fix it and started building a platform designed to translate chaotic dashboards into a straightforward growth roadmap. Marketing shouldn't require a data science degree just to avoid burning your runway.

How did you validate your initial MVP ideas? Did you start with raw survey data like this, or did you build based on a personal pain point first?

P.S. We are currently gearing up for our upcoming beta phase. If you're a bootstrapper running Meta ads and want to get a look under the hood (or just need more visibility into your ad spend), let me know below!

This is a strong wedge because you are not trying to give solopreneurs another analytics dashboard. You are translating confusing ad data into a clear decision: what to kill, what to scale, and where the budget is leaking.

That distinction matters. Most small founders do not fail because they lack metrics. They fail because the metrics do not turn into action. The “Waste Score” and plain-English next step angle feels much sharper than another Meta reporting tool.

One thing I’d pressure-test before beta is the brand frame. Xolora is clean, but it may not immediately communicate the seriousness of what you are building: a decision layer for paid acquisition, budget waste, and ad efficiency.

Beryxa.com would fit this direction well because it sounds more like a serious growth intelligence and decision-system brand, not just a lightweight ad audit tool. The product is already about clarity, confidence, and knowing what move to make next, so the name should help carry that trust before the user connects their ad data or takes advice from the tool.

Since beta is coming soon, this is probably the right moment to think about it before users, content, and product memory lock around Xolora.

I chose the name Xolora on purpose as it reflects my target audience. And people really like the name.

Beryxa sounds more like a jewellery or fast fashion brand to me.
