I take opportunities, not risks...

"I had to do everything myself. I had some income but not a lot. I didn't have a team. So if I needed a design, I had to learn how to do that. If I wanted to develop, I had to learn how to do that. That's why I'm so thankful for what I have now. And it's also why I'm so careful to never lose the ability to create stuff in the way I do today, where we have the money to hire people, and the ability to create whatever we can think of. I would never risk that. Never. There are so many companies nowadays that want to be the size of Uber in two years, or do a 100 billion dollar IPO. I think those companies are, at their core, selfish. They risk too much. It's just a matter of time before they lose it all, and it's not just the company at stake, it will affect their customers too. I believe the purpose of a company is to create value. That's the most important thing. So that's what I take care to protect — our ability to create. And that's why I take opportunities, not risks."⠀
