I Think I Just Changed My Life Using My Product
My product is called Newny. It's a collaboration tool that helps mainly Networkers and Marketers create temporary and topical discussions with peers and potential new connections/clients.
Networkers and Marketers because they're my niche but I can see it being implemented in so many different industries (such as education).
I built this because I'm currently in the "what do i do with my life stage" after graduating from university and not too keen in following a monotonous career path. The limbo state between education/student life and career life is a major problem faced by many today. We're trying to figure out what to do for the rest of our lives.
I started networking with as many people as I could in my area and abroad but a connection on linkedIn is useless if they won't return your messages!
So I decided to build a tool that'll help solve this issue and bridge this gap. I can use Newny to invite my connections and acquaintances to discuss a topic we are all interested in. The people I invite also invite their peers who they feel will benefit.

Through my own product I met someone who could become my mentor in the near future. He's a person I see myself becoming in the next 20 years. He's heavily involved in online education and mentorship. his ethos is helping the youth navigate their careers. We connected in one of the discussions I created on Newny and was invited by my friend who promoted it in a networking WhatsApp group he was in.
After the discussion we connected via WhatsApp and had a call discussing his story and our similarities. I'm excited to see how I could leverage his business acumen and learn from someone who has done it!
This is exciting to me because I feel like this could be so many other people in the same shoes as me and its validation for my product because I directly benefited, had I not created Newny meeting him and others like him wouldn't have been likely (but not impossible).
I highly recommend you try it out and see what it can do for you!!
