I thought I understood my expenses — I was wrong by ~$100/month 💸

A while ago, I tried to get a clear picture of my monthly expenses.
I assumed I had a pretty good handle on it.

I didn’t.

After digging deeper, I realized I was underestimating my subscriptions by around $100/month — mostly from tools I forgot about, rarely used, or didn’t recognize from bank statements.

That’s when something clicked:

The real problem isn’t tracking expenses — it’s understanding what’s about to hit your account next.

Spreadsheets didn’t help.
Traditional budgeting apps didn’t either.
They all show the past… but the pain comes from future charges you didn’t anticipate.

So I built Intelens to solve that specific gap.

What it focuses on:

I’ve spent the last few weeks building and refining the detection + projection engine (a lot of edge cases 😅), and it’s now at a stage where it’s actually usable.

Still early, but I want to pressure-test the idea with people here.
