I thought indexing was the hard part.

Turns out helping Google understand what your product actually is is much harder.

Early on I kept thinking:

  • more pages
  • more features
  • more tools

would create more visibility.

Instead it mostly created more ambiguity.

I'm starting to think small products need semantic clarity more than feature depth in the beginning.
