Hey Indiehackers
I am Umair and I co-run a white-label link building agency (WebSeoMix) and I just launched FollowReach.
The origin story is embarrassingly simple:
A prospect replied to my LinkedIn message. I saw it. I thought "I'll reply after this task." Three days later they hired someone else. $600 gone. Not from bad outreach. From one forgotten reply.
So I tracked everything for four months.
1,000 outreach messages across LinkedIn, Fiverr, Upwork and Email.
The finding that changed how I think about outreach:
Touch 1 (Day 1): 8% reply rate
Touch 2 (Day 3): 14% reply rate
Touch 3 (Day 7): 38% reply rate
Touch 4 (Day 14): 22% reply rate
Touch 5 (Day 45): 19% reply rate
Touch 3 at Day 7 gets 38% reply rate.
That is the message most people never send because they forgot who they messaged seven days ago.
I built FollowReach to fix that.
WHAT IT IS:
A human-first outreach system for freelancers, consultants and small teams.
Every morning it shows you who to message today across all your platforms.
You write every message. You send every message. Nothing automated. Nothing forgotten.
It is not a CRM. It is a morning queue.
CURRENT STATE (building in public):
Users: 138 confirmed
Activation (added first prospect): 18%
Revenue: $0 (fixing this this week)
Emails sent by system: 1,146
Companies with 3+ team members signed up: 3
Pricing: Free up to 20 prospects.
Founding member: $9/month (first 100 users).
WHAT I LEARNED SO FAR:
Pakistani freelancers do not pay for SaaS.
(I am Pakistani. Took 3 months to accept this.)
Companies found FollowReach without me
marketing to them. 10 from one company,
5 from another, 4 from a third.
I built a solo tool. They want a team tool.
$7/month pricing killed credibility.
Raised to $9. Should have done it sooner.
Empty dashboards kill activation.
97 people opened the app.
79 saw nothing and left.
Fixed with a guided first-run experience.
The email system is the hardest part. Not the marketing. The actual email delivery, deduplication, and bot cleanup.
WHAT I AM ASKING FOR:
If you do manual outreach - try FollowReach.
Free forever up to 20 prospects.
If you have questions about any of the technical or marketing decisions I made ask below. I answer everything.

Happy to be here. Roast the product. That is literally why I posted.
Your forgotten-reply story is the outbound version of the same leak I see with inbound leads:
Before you swap CRM or kill the ad account — check minutes from form submit → first human reply for the last 10–20 leads.
A lot of “bad leads” are just cold ones. Shared inbox, no named owner, ack never sent, CRM updated after the prospect already booked someone else.
Cheap experiment (no new software):
If useful, I keep a small $37 pack with the checklist + tracker CSV + 5 scripts: https://allmkts.com/ops-leak/ — otherwise the process above is free.
The missed reply makes the value of the morning queue clear. Seeing who is already waiting for an answer would help me pick up those conversations before starting more outreach.
Exactly right — and this is the exact reason the queue sorts replies first.
When someone responds to your message it appears at the top of your morning queue in red before anything else.
The insight from 847 tracked messages: replying within 4 hours of a prospect responding increases close rate by 3x.
FollowReach puts those conversations at the front of every morning before you start any new outreach.

Takes 30 seconds to add your first prospect.
The three teams signing up organically seems more strategically important than the pricing change. Are those teams actually using FollowReach as a shared outreach workflow, or are they essentially several individuals using the same solo queue?
Honest answer: they are essentially individuals using the same solo queue.
Each person has their own account.
There is no shared workspace, no duplicate, detection, no manager view.
But here is what I found interesting:
they are making it work anyway.
One Company has 10 people signed up separately.
They are presumably coordinating manually outside FollowReach — maybe a Slack channel or a shared spreadsheet alongside it.
That tells me the individual value is strong enough that they onboarded 10 people without a team feature existing. The workflow fit is there even without the infrastructure.
The strategic question you are pointing at is the right one: is this a team product with individual accounts as a wedge, or an individual product that occasionally gets adopted by teams?
I think it is the second one becoming the first.
The team waitlist has 51 entries now
Building team workspace next.
That 10-person account is a strong signal. I’d be interested in digging into what’s driving that adoption. If you’re open to it, what’s the best email to reach you on?
Happy to dig into it - umairrorb@gmail.com
The short version of what I think is driving the 10-person adoption:
They do outreach as a team but the accountability is individual. Each person needs to know THEIR follow-ups are done.
Not a shared pipeline. Individual queues that happen to be at the same company.
That is actually a different problem than shared CRM. It is more like giving each person their own system with a manager layer on top.
Emailing you now.
Thanks! I’ve just sent it over.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts whenever you have a chance.
The day-7 jump is a great reminder that follow-up timing can matter more than adding another hundred names. I’d track time-to-first-reply and time-to-next-touch alongside reply rate, then segment by channel; that should help separate a genuinely better sequence from a channel mix effect. The forgotten-reply origin story also makes “reply triage before new outreach” feel like the right default.
