I tried promoting my side project everywhere and failed, what would you do next

I’ve been building a small voting-based ranking site (Rankiwiki).

I tried:

  • Reddit (posts deleted, Banned...)
  • niche forums (mixed results)
  • Indie Hackers (8 posts, almost no engagement)

nofeedback, just silence.

The product works, but clearly distribution doesn’t.

If you were in my position:

  • would you double down on content?
  • change the target user?
  • or stop promoting and focus on something else?

I’m not looking for comfort, genuinely curious what you’d try next.
