"I'm having a difficult time getting up in the morning. I wake up but I just lay on the bed. Once I start the day, it's pretty good. It's just difficult to actually start my day. I don't know why I'm dealing with this depression, but I think it's probably linked to my startup — the goals that I set, the deals that fall through, the difficulty finding quality talent. I try to remember that I woke up, I am alive, and I have this day to do whatever I've always wanted. And I think about the many people around me who do not have what is necessary for them to pursue their dreams or goals. I was lucky enough to do what I always wanted, and I try to remember this when I feel depressed so that I don't forget what I'm doing or why I started doing it. I'm also trying to motivate myself by looking at how I used to do things. It gives me confidence to know that I was not always like this because it means I can always get back to where I was before. It's not easy to snap out of it and get into my art or whatever else might help. It takes time, but it's possible. I'm actually working on my magnum opus right now — it's a four and a half foot replica of the Titanic, made out of paper mache. You have to pull yourself together and constantly try to remember the nice things in your life. That gives me the courage to continue pursuing my dream."⠀
