I turned the most popular indie hackers tweet into a product
Prolific indiehacker Danny Postma shared on Twitter his playbook to find and build product ideas that will get traffic on auto-pilot.
It's rather simple:
- Find a keyword with low competition (KD<20)
- Find a keyword with enough volume (Volume>500)
- Find a keyword with many child keywords
- Build a product around the keyword
- Launch the product on product hunt to get backlinks
- Wait and traffic will come!
The tweet was liked and bookmarked ten thousands of times and viewed almost a million times.
His advice was gold.
However the tools Danny proposes to do the research are not ideal:
- The free ahrefs tool doesn't show all the essential data
- The free ahrefs tool doesn't show daughter keywords
- The paid ahrefs tool is CRAZY expensive (starting from $80 per month)
