Hey IH π
Just published something I've been thinking about for a while β and it came directly from building Meteorra AI.
While analysing thousands of YouTube videos through our metadata scorer, one pattern kept appearing. Creators with genuinely good content consistently underperforming. Not because the content was bad. Because the metadata was sending the wrong signal to the algorithm.
That realisation became this article:
"The Metadata Mistake Killing YouTube and TikTok Creators (Your Content is the Mail β Metadata is the Address)"
The core insight: metadata is the address on your content. Without a correct address the algorithm can't deliver your video to the right people. Wrong people don't engage. Algorithm buries it. Creator blames YouTube.
YouTube was just following the instructions you gave it.

Also β if you want to test your own video: meteorra.ai/youtube-analyser scores your title, tags and hashtags out of 100 with before/after optimised replacements. Free, no signup.
Would love feedback from this community β does the mail metaphor land? Is there a better way to explain metadata to creators who don't think in SEO terms? π
