I’ve been training since 2015.
For a long time, I thought my problem was knowledge.
Maybe I needed a better workout plan.
Maybe I needed a better split.
Maybe I needed a new goal.
But after years in the gym, I realized that was not really the problem.
I already know what to do.
The real problem is consistency.
Not beginner consistency. I’m talking about people who have trained for years, know the exercises, understand what good training looks like, but still go through the same cycle:
train seriously → lose momentum → disappear → come back → repeat
That has been me many times.
So I started building Rex Fitness Companion.
Rex is an AI fitness companion for gym people who know how to train but still struggle with consistency.
The idea is to make it feel less like another chatbot, and more like a training partner who remembers your story and helps you keep showing up.
The idea is not to create another workout generator.
For example, if you go quiet for a few days, Rex can check in based on what you told it before — not with a generic reminder, but with context like:
“You said work usually makes you miss training midweek. Did that happen again?”
That is the direction I’m trying to build toward.
Something that remembers your fitness story, your goals, your struggles, your comebacks, and your patterns — then helps you stay aware and keep showing up.
I’m still early and trying to get honest feedback.
My question:
Does this positioning make sense?
“AI fitness companion for gym people who know how to train but still struggle with consistency”
Or does it still sound too broad / unclear?
If you want to try it, here is the live web app:

Would love brutal honest feedback — especially if it feels useful for consistency or still feels like a normal chatbot.
