I wanna cry. Roast my website🔥

In 2019, when Designjoy first published their site on land-book, I proudly admit that I was one of the first to replicate their business model. Within the first month, I managed to secure four clients at $700 per month. Unfortunately, due to the impact of Covid, all of these clients soon canceled their subscriptions. At that time, I decided to shift my focus towards other business ventures.

However, in 2023, when Brett, the founder of Designjoy, released his course, it reignited my inspiration to revive my agency. I must confess that when I came up with the name Designfly, I was quite lazy and didn't put too much thought into it. Nevertheless, within a week, I was able to set up a website for the agency.

Looking ahead, I am already planning to launch another agency with an entirely different branding and business model, targeting the $10,000 price point. This new venture will offer a fresh approach and unique identity in the market.

Design is nice, but looks a bit amateurish, where i feel i need to spend $3k/month, i will be looking for some more serious developer/ company .

And the message communicated can be more straight. and not sure, if you are a company or an individual. yes you have mentioned in your FAQ that clients will be working with the founder direclty.

If iam giving you the work, i will wonder how one person can dedicate unlimited time for multiple clients, and hence will be bit suspicious in giving the order.

Many places there is mentioned "Unlimited" which raise doubt in the mind of the user if its genuine ( i had that feeling :-) )

There could be mention about the person's profile in a more straight form.

Looks visually appealing but:

• The colours make it very hard to read: white and gray font on a black background?
• It's challenging to find out what my eyes need to prioritise looking at. The top banner (Get 10% off your first month!) grabs my attention but that shouldn't be the case.
• Visuals are not relevant
• Too many questions in the Q&A section. Limit it to 4 and if you want to add more, dedicate a page to it.
• "Contact" is an old fashion emailto action. Add a contact form or a contact widget or at the very least write your email address in the footer.

You did a good job so it's hard to roast, but there are a few things to fix.

Nice site, I like the font and colour scheme. Now for some roasts: (1) The scrolling was quite painful on a thin browser window with the one-column scroll because the text would only become non-grey when it was very close to the top of the screen, not in the middle of the screen where it's easy to read. (2) There's some serious visual glitching when you click the webflow pricing checkbox (not what I want to see when planning to drop 5k). (3) I kept forgetting the name of the service/site because it isn't made obvious anywhere on the site and the url is easy to confuse with 'designify', 'designly' etc. (4) Less design-y feedback here last, but wasn't super clear how much I had to provide as part of a request or what this would look like.

Okay, This type of landing is what I exactly see on many Saas landing pages. Crisp and Clear about the info and Great Design BTW. But the horizontal and vertical scroll bars in the paragraph of these 1. Submit your Request 2. Receive your design 3. Launch your Product is killing me. Take care of that, the site is awesome

Those white dotted grid lines didn't show up on my monitor very well. Consider brightening them. How are you designing these sites?

I'd say go for onion chopping as an alternative :D

Honestly though, despite the fact that I like the simple complexity you created the website with, something does not feel right to me. More on the perception level. But could be the color palette used on the website, the texts are in way too dark grey to me so it does not look stylish and juicy as I'd expect it to be having the green as a primary color.

The animation feels heavy, yet I like the appearing menu.

Animations should support user interaction. That vertical scroll animation only makes me nauseous. Only thing that's missing is hijacking my native scroll.
Unlimited changes means you don't know what you're doing and the client should babysit your design work. How many changes did Paul Rand give to Steve Jobs on a logo design? None. And that was for Steve frigging Jobs.
You really want me to spend $3700/month based on a couple of floating UI element screenshots? You're going to need a bit more than that.

Smooth! I like the black and green combination of colors. Awesome navbar at the bottom. Are you connecting clients with designers? Who is doing my design after I submit the request?

I get to know that by scrolling down to FAQ, but I am not sure how many people will actually scroll all the way down to get the info. For the price of a 3700$ a month I would like to know who is doing this job for me before reading the price.
