I'm looking for a project in the technology field. I would appreciate it if you could assist me in finding a creative and interesting project to work on that is related to technology, IT, or engineering.
Please suggest some cool ideas to help me improve my technical skills.

Easiest way to find opportunities is to make a slight change on something that already exists. You can do this by going to sites like Capterra or G2 and looking at reviews. Filter by the 5 stars and then 1 stars in a niche of your choice and begin documenting what people like and don't like. Try to find patterns and gaps in the market that you can fill.

Thank you for your suggestion! That will be very helpful, but with this project, I want to get to know my indie hackers closely so that I can get to know their mindset and can have thier participate in decision-making as well (not in code). I'm not going to build a saas around it because that is not the goal for now!
Something I am looking at now is building a solution where B2B can cross market to each other databases , adopting a PPC model, ensuring privacy is maintained using a simple URL link tracker.

I've built a URL shortener and know how to track clicks, but I'm not sure what you're trying to track. For example, let's say I'm an eCommerce platform and I want to share a database. Could you please explain this scenario?
The URL when cliked captures the following data, Date & Time, Location, IP, Device ID, Device Type, location and referral site where the URL was clicked e.g Twitter, FB/IG, LinkedIn etc. These links can then be included within a email applications and can be used to leverage someone elses database without breaching privacy and becuase the number of times the link is clicked can be measured it can then be used for PPC adv....this could create a whole new catagory for adv where B2B can cross market to each others database. Build a "creative and interesting project" to solve the problem you are having at this same moment. Means, build something to help people grab ideas to build.
It will be "related to technology and IT" and it's a "cool idea to help you improve your technical skills".

just a project that challenges me the most
(in terms of development) like building an SDK for pricing and payment module for saas!
