I Want to make a platform for people to collab and what do you think?

I had an idea of developing a tool, being a back end programmer I am not very good with the front end stuff and thought it would be great if someone helps me. I have tried this on social media but I think it sucks to collaborate on social media for such a time-consuming product as the people whom I have tried to collab with, they just give up after few days and I consider this as a problem which could be worked upon. I would love to hear about it from you guys what you thinking about it will this be a great product or not.
